I created a new Google scholar account with my gmail. I then got an email from Google stating that I had a duplicate google scholar account and to choose which one i wanted to make public. This resolved my issue as I chose my current institution as public and made my past institution as a private profile.
I tried many times to send the verification email, and now it says "Too many unconfirmed verification emails. You need to confirm one before you can send another." So, I can not send another verification email of my Google Scholar profile and also did not receive any of the previous verification emails to confirm one of them.
These threads are posted every few months and always seem to devolve into people saying "check that you have a verified email address" and "make sure your profile is set to public" over and over again despite repeated statements that those things are already done, and then the staff locks the thread with no solution posted.
I have a had a Google Scholar profile for many years. However, I accidentally created a new profile (not public) but with the same Google account. The link to my original profile works fine, but if I click My Profile to change details, etc. on it it takes me to the newly created profile. There's an option there under Setting Account to Delete ...
Changing the google account's image works for other Google Account's products, but not for Google Scholar profile. I can change the current Google Scholar profile image to my own default image, but in this time, I just change to default setting (initial image setting - No image).
As before, I'm still not getting any answers to my requests from Google Scholar support portal. I'm not sure if this system (of submitting requests) is actually functioning, as I have never received any responses to my previous requests submitted during the last couple of years.

Possible reason: the webpage of step 2 requires the search results of Google Scholar, and this action requires the verification of reCAPTCHA. Howerver, the reCAPTCHA box does not pop up here and therefore returns a `null` result. This may be a bug to be fixed by Google.
