Keyhole Markup Language ( KML) is an XML notation for expressing geographic annotation and visualization within two-dimensional maps and three-dimensional Earth browsers. By converting KML to the GeoJSON format, we are able to create interactive maps for the infobox. The file also draws these lines on the popup WikiMiniAtlas that appears through the -icon in the top right corner of articles once a KML file is created and added using {{Attached KML}}.
