I have Zillow emails set up from my regular email to see how certain things look as a consumer and I just received one of the “Listing Showcase” messages. I was extremely impressed with the whole thing and it’s clearly set up to prominently display the listing agent’s information which I’m obviously a fan of.
My rental's zillow price history is cluttered with multiple line items like this below. Lines with "Listed for rent", ""Price change", "Listing removed". 5/15/2022 Listed for rent $3,300 Source: Zillow Rental Manager Report a problem 1/1/2021 Listing removed Source: Zillow Rental Manager Report a problem 1/5/2021 Listed for rent $3,150
I use Zillow’s payment system for one of my rentals, it’s easy and free for the one property. The downside is it takes a few extra days for the payment to hit my account. I’ve also used Zelle, which is nice and immediate deposit, but many banks have daily limits on the amount that can be sent, some around $1000 so it could mean rent paid ...
Except for the actual data. There is a white paper published by Zillow that says otherwise. Additionally, there are some other statistical sites that also say there is in fact a correlation between saves in the first weeks and sales. 50% of homes that have 50 or more saves in the first week get offers over asking and 85% get a offer within 5% of asking.
As a SWE, I would assume a "view" would be determined by when you click the actual zillow listing. So, a view would probably increment when a unique user opened the zillow link (i.e. you see the house in the zillow list results and click it).
TLDR: don't entrust (large) rent payment with Zillow. They may hold your payment for long; if the payment is blocked, the resolution is extremely painful. Finding 1: Zillow outsources their payment processing (e.g. to Stripe), which Zillow seems to have little idea/control. Zillow users cannot get hold of Stripe because you are not their customers.
Right click photo on Zillow, choose Copy Image. Paste image into a New Paint file. When saving the file just use the drop down to change it to a Jpeg / gif / whatever you want from the drop down. Edit Sorry: Apple computers use Preview and should work the same way.
On the Zillow app, if you “Request Tour” or “Request Application” and it sends the automated message to the realtor, and you save the home you are interested in, once you go to the “saved homes” tab there will be an option at the top that says “Contacted rentals”.

Zillow estimates $459k for my townhome and my agent is figuring a close price of around $425k based on comps, and a $320/mo HOA (there aren't many comps that are current because they don't come up for sale).
