Card Sharks is an American television game show.It was created by Chester Feldman for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions. The game features two contestants who attempt to predict the outcome of survey questions to gain control of a row of oversized playing cards, then determine whether the next card drawn is higher or lower.
Although Perry was American by birth, he and his family emigrated to Canada in the early 1970s and moved back to the U.S. in the late 1970s when he was hired to host Card Sharks. [citation needed] Perry also served as an announcer for That Show starring Joan Rivers, a short-lived two-month series that aired in 1969 on syndicated television.
Eubanks hosted Card Sharks throughout its CBS run from January 1986 until its demise in March 1989. Prior to hosting Card Sharks, he appeared as a special guest on the original NBC version alongside Jim Perry to promote his 1979 game show All Star Secrets, which he also produced. His final network game show was Family Secrets.
