If you have installed a VPN or other software that changes your location away from en-gb the OS maps will not be available to you. To confirm OS Maps are working the following sample sets en-gb to prove the OS maps are indeed working and the issue is on your PC/Device.
Hi Hannah, Microsoft only keeps one set of imagery live at any one time as our use case is to show it on our Maps. Import files to Bing Maps. I understand that this question has been asked multiple times in the past, but this has been answered with previous itterations of the browswer, which is not implemented in the curent one. To clarify, Bing Maps keeps only one set of imagery and it is stitched together like a blanket that wraps the earth. This means all imagery has a date range, not a date and as noted, it is only available if you use the Developer APIs.
I'll be happy to assist you today. I'm pretty sure the only option to rotate the image when using bird's eye on Bing maps is by clicking on the two rotating arrows that rotate the image 90º.
