The American National Bank Building is a historic bank building located in Alamosa, Colorado. The two-story Arcaded Block -style building was constructed in 1909. The building's most distinctive architectural features are the tall, evenly spaced, rounded arches on the north and west sides of the building. [2] The bank closed in 1951.
In 1941, the railroad donated it to Alamosa, Colorado and has been on display in Cole Park there since. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Locomotive No.169 in 2001. February 1, 2012. The Trujillo Homesteads are a historic ranch site near Mosca, Alamosa County, Colorado, not far from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The area was first settled in the 1860s by Teofilo Trujillo, a Mexican sheep farmer. His son Pedro built a log cabin house beginning in 1879, along with other ranch outbuildings and structures.
