Highway 407 is a 151.4-kilometre (94.1 mi) [1] controlled-access highway that encircles the GTA, passing through Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, and Clarington, as well as travelling immediately north of Toronto.

The entire length of the route lies between Lakeridge Road and Coronation Road, within Whitby.
